# Speak to Robyn

> Ask your staff assistant about the diary, patients and work waiting for you.

**Speak to Robyn** is for your clinic's staff. It is separate from the assistant that answers patient calls.

## In the iPhone app

Tap **Ask Robyn** on Home. You can speak or type. The app asks permission before connecting the AI assistant; review that explanation before continuing. A shake or VoiceOver's Magic Tap can also open the assistant.

Ask about the day's diary, available times, waiting chats or unanswered calls. She can use your clinic's records to answer, so use the app somewhere private.

## Booking actions

When asking Robyn to book, check the patient, practitioner and time and confirm the action. Available actions depend on your connection. Outlook writes require the separate **Let Robyn add bookings** connection.

## By phone

You can also ring your clinic's number from the mobile on your staff login. Routiq uses that number to recognise you. Keep it current and do not share that phone with people who should not access the clinic's records.

## Data handling

The in-app assistant uses ElevenLabs and its AI provider outside Australia. Voice sessions in the app are not recorded, but conversations are retained for 30 days. Calling by phone uses the line's recording settings instead. See [Privacy and security](https://docs.routiq.ai/security/overview.md).

Speak to Robyn is not available as a web assistant. For help using the web app, use [Speak to Daniel](https://docs.routiq.ai/support/contact.md).
