# Acuity and calendar links

> Read Acuity, Outlook or Google calendars and understand which bookings Robyn can write.

Choose **Acuity** or the calendar option in **Integrations**.

Acuity setup: import the client list, then add a calendar link. All patient data shown is fictional.

## Acuity

Import your client list, then follow the connection page to add Acuity's one-way calendar link. Routiq reads appointment information from that feed and matches it to your clients. The feed has a limited history, so it is not a complete record of every past visit.

Robyn can offer visible free times to patients and new enquirers. Their choice goes to the practitioner with the booking link. Routiq does not write into Acuity.

## Outlook and Google Calendar

Follow the on-screen steps for an Outlook published calendar link or Google's **Secret address in iCal format**. A calendar may contain personal events: connect only the calendar you intend Routiq to read.

A read-only link gives Robyn calendar context. It does not itself allow her to create or change an event.

## Let Robyn add bookings in Outlook

Outlook has an additional **Let Robyn add bookings** connection. The owner signs in to Microsoft and grants access. Staff can then ask [Speak to Robyn](https://docs.routiq.ai/calls/speak-to-robyn.md) to book, and confirm the action. Routiq checks the slot before writing.

This is separate from patient booking by text, and it does not give Google Calendar the same write capability.

## Protect and replace a link

Private calendar links are secrets. Routiq seals them after saving and shows only a short ending. Revoke a link in its calendar provider if you need to stop access, then update the connection in Routiq. Check calendar-link notifications so the team hears if a feed fails.
