# Connect Timely

> Bring in your client list, calendar links and appointment history.

Choose **Timely** in **Integrations**. Follow the steps shown on the connection page.

1. Export your clients from Timely and import the list. Check the column matches and consent settings before confirming.
2. Add each practitioner's Timely calendar link. Check the name and upcoming-booking count shown after the link is read.
3. Upload the **Appointment schedule** report for your appointment history, using the instructions on the page.

## What stays up to date

Routiq checks the calendar links for changes about every 15 minutes. Upcoming bookings keep patients out of rebooking outreach. A newly booked Timely client can become a patient in Routiq; keep your client list current too.

Appointment history helps Robyn learn from real visits. Rows that cannot be matched to a client are skipped and counted, so read the import result.

## Booking enquiries

Robyn can offer the free times she can see. A patient's chosen time is passed to the practitioner with the booking link. Routiq does not write appointments into Timely. Your team must complete the booking in its own system.

## A link stops working

Check **Settings → Notifications** for calendar-link alerts. Replace a broken link on the Timely connection. Revoking or changing the link in Timely stops Routiq reading it; do not assume yesterday's imported diary is still current.
