# How Robyn writes

> Set the wording and tone of Robyn’s chats and rebooking messages.

Open **Settings → How Robyn writes**. Robyn starts with her own rules; you can change them or add your own.

## Rules for everyone

Under **Her voice**, edit an existing rule or write a new one and press **Add**. These rules apply to every chat and reengagement message. Keep instructions concrete: how to sign off, words to avoid, or how directly to invite someone back. **Robyn's default** identifies her starting wording.

## Rules for each group

Give a group its own guidance when the reason for writing differs. Someone just due may need a different invitation from someone away a long time. Avoid promising a specific result or appointment unless the clinic can provide it.

## Preview the wording

The **How she’ll sound** panel shows a reengagement message and a sample chat reply. Use **Try another patient** to see another example. These previews are not sent.

## Check a draft

Open a draft in the [Message Queue](https://docs.routiq.ai/reengagement/message-queue.md) and review its Message, Journey, Score and Prompt. Edit the final text before approving it. Changing writing rules is different from choosing who receives messages or when they send.
