Get Started in 5 Minutes

This quickstart guide will help you set up Routiq and send your first patient reactivation campaign.

Create your account

Sign up for Routiq at app.routiq.ai/signupYou’ll need:
  • Your email address
  • Practice name
  • Timezone
After signup, you’ll be redirected to the setup page.

Connect Cliniko

Connect your Cliniko practice management system to sync patient data.
  1. Navigate to SetupConnect Cliniko
  2. Select your Cliniko shard (au1, au2, au3, au4, or US)
  3. Enter your Cliniko API key
  4. Click Connect
Don’t have a Cliniko API key? Learn how to generate one in our Cliniko integration guide.
Routiq will immediately begin syncing your patient data. This may take a few minutes depending on your patient database size.

Connect Messaging Platform

Choose and connect your preferred messaging platform:Chatwoot supports WhatsApp, SMS, and Email in one platform.
  1. Navigate to SettingsIntegrationsChatwoot
  2. Enter your Chatwoot Account ID and API Key
  3. Click Connect

Option 2: Twilio (Coming Soon)

Twilio integration provides direct SMS and WhatsApp messaging.This integration is currently in development. For now, please use Chatwoot for messaging.

Create your first campaign

Now you’re ready to create a patient reactivation campaign!
  1. Navigate to CampaignsCreate Campaign
  2. Give your campaign a name (e.g., “Overdue Checkups Q1”)
  3. Define your patient segment:
    • Treatment types: Select relevant treatment types
    • Last visit: Set timeframe (e.g., 6-12 months ago)
    • Status: Active patients only
  4. Choose your messaging sequence:
    • Select message templates or let AI generate personalized messages
    • Set timing (e.g., Day 0, Day 3, Day 7)
    • Choose channels (WhatsApp, SMS, Email)
  5. Review and launch
Start with a small test segment (e.g., 10-20 patients) to validate your campaign before scaling up.

Monitor and optimize

Track your campaign performance in the Reactivation Centre:
  • Response rate: How many patients responded
  • Booking rate: How many booked appointments
  • Revenue recovered: Total value of recovered appointments
  • Message analytics: Open rates, click rates, reply rates
Use these insights to optimize future campaigns.
