Rebooking runs on its own every day. A campaign is something you start yourself: a run of messages to a group you choose. The Campaigns page lists “Everything Routiq sends on your behalf, in one list.” Only an owner or admin can start, edit, pause or delete a campaign.

The Campaigns page

Open Campaigns in the sidebar. You’ll see three groups:
  • Always on: the Rebooking run for patients who are due back.
  • Your campaigns: the ones you’ve started, with a status such as Draft, In progress, Needs you or Paused.
  • Finished: campaigns that are Done.
Each campaign can be paused, resumed or retried from its row. Its More menu has Edit campaign and Delete campaign.

Start a campaign

Press New campaign. The app’s promise: “Robyn drafts, you approve every word.”
1

Tell Robyn who to reach

Describe who you want to write to, or press a suggestion such as Only came once, Away 6+ months, Just the 30 longest away or Everyone. A campaign can reach up to 500 people. Press Continue with these people; the button shows how many.
2

The breakdown

Robyn sorts them into groups: Been away a long time, Slipping away, Overdue and Due about now. Choose the groups to include, then press Approve these groups.
3

The prompts

For each group, tell Robyn what to say, and anything the message must include. Press Approve prompts.
4

Ready to start

Pick a pace: Steady (14 a day), Faster (22 a day) or As fast as allowed (50 a day). Press Start.
5

Approve the drafts

Press Open the queue. Robyn’s drafts wait in the Message Queue for you to approve.

One message to everyone

For news that goes to all your patients, choose One message to everyone instead? when you start a campaign. You write one message, pick who gets it (Seen in the last year, Seen in the last 2 years or Everyone), and see what it will cost in credits before anything sends. Then press Schedule.
A message to everyone doesn’t wait for approval message by message. Check it carefully before you schedule it.

What every campaign follows

Campaign messages, including messages to everyone, follow the same sending rules as rebooking messages. They go between 8am and 8pm, skip anyone texted in the last three days, and skip anyone who has opted out. Each campaign texts a patient once.
