Notification recipients, push settings and alerts in the sample clinic. All patient data shown is fictional.

Email alerts

The settings include Robyn is stuck, Reply waiting, A reply is waiting for you, A booking was made, A booking was cancelled, Credits running low and A calendar link stopped working. Keep alerts for conversations needing people going to someone who checks them. A reply is waiting for you is the reminder for a reply held over an hour; it is different from the initial reply-waiting alert.

Who gets paged

Check the addresses under Who gets paged and use Send a test email. A blank recipient list means there is nobody to receive the page. Emails may contain a patient’s full name, message and Robyn’s draft. Call emails may also contain their phone number and summary. Use clinic-approved inboxes and review access when staff leave.

Phone push

Check Phone push and the available test control. The iPhone app asks for notification permission after sign-in. Pushes can alert your team to waiting replies, handovers and missed calls; they do not include a patient’s name or message body. Tapping opens the relevant work in the app. If pushes are missing, check iPhone notification permissions as well as Routiq’s settings. Email and push are separate delivery channels.
